Building stamina

After 6 years of being extremely ill, I received a liver transplant on January 14, 09. I have been home for about 8 weeks now but I feel like my recovery is at a stand still. I barely have enough stamina to make myself something to eat. While I realize recover is a long process, I just wondered if some of you who had your transplant years ago could tell me how long it seemed to take you before you felt good again.
