3 years ago I received a new heart. This cause is what I will pursue for the rest of my life.
Our old group of 2300 plus members Organ Transplant Patients, Families and Friends was destroyed by Facebook when they spammed all of our members with bogus emails, some members received well over a hundred of these unauthorized notes. After repeated and failed attempts to contact Facebook I was forced to shut down the group and we lost all of our members, many of which did not know where we went.
Now we have a new group ORGAN Transplantation Initiative (OTI) http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=152655364765710&ref=ts and we need members, lots of them if we are to have an impact on the people who make important decisions about transplantation and organ donation research and development. Please join our group and please ask as many friends as you can to do the same. We can save lives but we need your help.
