- Transplant recipient. Type 1 Diabetic, led to Kidney disease. Dialysis for 4 years, transplanted a kidney and pancreas April 1 2004. Rejected Pancreas February 4th 2008. Currently kidney is functioning at 100%. I am awaiting another pancreas transplant due to the rejection, and recurring as a Type 1 diabetic.
