"You are only fooling your self. It is urgent and will begin to effect the rest of your body. The way you walk, your neck and back. Take my advice. Get it looked at A.S,A.P."

shoulder pain

my shoulder needs to be xrayed soon..hurry? necrosis is necrosis, my discomfort has gotten too uncomfortable. Similar to the pain before, in my hips and knee. Onset? It's not a weight bearing joint/bone, so the need to compensate for the pain in my daily mobility isn't urgent, noticeable. The discomfort wakes me, so that is an issue I need to address. I'm going to make a Ortho appt after I submit my blog. Thanks for letting me share my moment/time with all of you. I hope my blog finds everyone…See More

About Me:
1990, 18 wonderful years and counting. Clueless about the " protocol " went into hepatic coma, UCLA candidate, the rest is life happens, thank God. Sandimmune and predisone hard on the joints/bones. Bilateral hip replacements, left knee replacement. My joints hurt, discomfort, hampers my mobility. I'm an active personality, hyper. Diagnosed with Fibermyalgia, NOT! I just know it's the meds, infused with steroids to jump start years ago..
I discribed my sensation the first month out, I felt like a " walking ruffle potato chip " side effect ? would eventually end? Never, I have to be mobile, period. So my bone pain is chronic. I'm looking for people my " age " oldies, that have experienced just bone discomfort, I'm not alone? Grateful for browsing the internet and finding this site..

Birthday

52 and counting, 18 years ago, I was 34, 1990, St Patrick's Day, my forever new Birthday.
I just want to say " Happy Birthday to everyone as well " old or new transplants, our lives are unigue in themselves, but we have the most important life changing experience to share amoung our very own circle of friends. We use to have " reunions " in the quad of UCLA hospital...but we out grew that area, or ability to keep taps on one another. Each transplant was color cordinated to distinquish transplanted organs, they did serve up a nice buffet for everyone too. " remember me " moments are no longer possible. Maybe the downside of the cyclosporine/predisone would be enough to make note of me after all these years.
Just a handful of transplants display my on going bone pain problems, it's not the organ, it's the medication regiment that recks havoc on our joints/bones aka Avascular Necrosis. How have others in my situation cope daily with cronic bone pain? Dont be put off by assuming it's just getting older, age happens..be aware of the distinct correlations.Onset of lactose intolerance?? Could be a sign of other underlying problems, that might take a while to expose the true cause, it's not simply " apples and oranges " even the dentist sees that it his patients. I'm assetive, in keeping up with my health issues, needs. I'm responsible for myself to help others who know little or nothing about me as a patient/person.
Compassion happened 18 years ago, the compassion to share, give. It takes nothing from a lit candle to light another candle. With that, my life, continues to take place, I witness my part in it daily. I truly celebrate my birthdays. I love Birthday Cake, especially chocolate.
thanks for letting me share my thoughts and feeling today

Birthday

Question? I 'm rewritting my email..cuz I cant find the one I thought I posted last weekend?

Happy Birthday to all of us, I'm going to be 52 tomorrow, 18 year transplant, 1990, liver. I've read about one member who is 1990, waiting for another liver, with cirrosis of unknown onset? so tha's not rejection. I hope that it all does go well.

I'm annoyed that my email, aka discussion, email was never posted, where it went? I find navigating the maze of opportunities to communicate hard to… Continue
